  1. What kind of seeds were planted to produce the crop?
    Organic seeds?
    Heirloom seeds?
    GMO, irradiated seeds produced from sprayed plants grown on depleted soils?
  2. Quality of the soil where the crops were grown
  3. Quality of the irrigation water used on the crops
  4. Were the crops grown with pesticides? Insecticides?
  5. What kind of fertilizer was used on the soil?
    Chemicals?
    Manure?
    Green manure (cover crops)?
  6. Where were the crops grown?
    Locally? Abroad?
    Under plastic hoops or exposed to direct sunlight and fresh air?
  1. Were the crops grown in monocultures?
  2. Who harvested the crops?
    Itenerant farm workers?
    Farm workers paid a living wage?
  1. Were the crops harvested before they were ripe?
  2. Were the crops washed with any chemical? Was any chemical applied on them such as dye?
  3. Are the crops packaged in plastic?
  4. Is the crop a seasonal crop?
